1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be kept on record.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner argues that the petitioner's representation/application for education loan has not been considered by the respondent-Bank.

3. Learned counsel for the Bank refutes such contention.

4. Learned counsel for the Bank is not equipped with appropriate instruction as to whether the said representation/application has been decided in the meantime.

5. In view of the innocuous nature of the prayer, there is no necessity to keep the matter pending.

6. In the event the Bank has not considered the representation/application of the petitioner, the Bank shall do so within a fortnight from date, giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner if necessary. Immediate thereafter, the outcome of the consideration shall be communicated to the petitioner.

7. In the event the Bank has already decided on the petitioner's application/representation, the outcome of the same shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week from date.

8. The petitioner shall be at liberty to challenge, if aggrieved by the said outcome, by way of a fresh writ petition.

9. W.P.A. No. 28041 of 2023 is disposed of accordingly.

10. There will be no order as to costs.

11. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
