2. This contempt petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the judgment and order dated 22nd June, 2023 in M.A.T. 694 of 2022.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents has produced the copy of the order passed by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Freedom Fighters' Division, Government of India dated 3rd March, 2025.

In compliance of Court order dated 09.02.2022 and in view of the facts mentioned in the preceding paragraph, I am directed to convey the sanction of the President of India to pay the arrear of Rs.34,32,631 (Rupees Thirty four lakhs thirty two thousand six hundred and thirty one only) to Shri Kali Krishna Bera for the period from 19.11.1981 to 16.10.2019 as per calculation sheet enclosed herewith.
