The petitioner says that there was no recovery from him. He has been implicated on the basis of statements made by co-accused persons. He is in custody for 84 days. He prays for bail.

We see that commercial quantity of phensedyl syrup containing codeine phosphate was seized in this case. Investigation is still on. Charge sheet is yet to be submitted. We do not know, further investigation may reveal complicity of this petitioner in the alleged offence. Hence, we are not inclined to allow the petitioner's prayer for bail, at this stage.

The prayer for bail is rejected.
