The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher of Harisankarpur S. K. Vidyapith, P.S: Domkal, District- Murshidabad, in the subject of history, he has applied for general transfer through Utsashree Portal on the medical ground.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the authority has not yet taken decision on his such application.

In terms of the order dated May 10, 2023 Mr.

Betal, learned Counsel for the school authority filed a report disclosing the PTR of the school, let the said report be kept with the record.

Mr. Betal submits that the application of the petitioner has already been returned.

The report discloses that the school is Higher Secondary School and the petitioner is a teacher of Secondary level.

The student strength of the school is 2227 out of which up to class X there are 1849 students. The school is already in dearth of teachers.

In view of the PTR of the school as disclosed in the report, the petitioner is not entitled to the general transfer as prayed for besides the Utsashree Portal is under suspension at present. As a result W.P.A. 29054 of 2022 is dismissed without any order as to costs.
