Datta ...for the respondent nos. 3 & 4 Mr. Gourav Das Mr. Hemanta Kumar Das ...for the State The petitioner was appointed as a "Group-D" staff at ssi Ct. 238 Rampurhat College, Birbhum. It is the grievance of the petitioner that he is also discharging the duty of a Laboratory Attendant which is a "Group- C" post. The college used to pay an additional remuneration of one fifth of his salary for discharging the additional responsibilities. Though the petitioner has been continuing as a "Group-C" staff, the college has stopped the payment of any extra amount. The college, however, disputes such contention. It is the case of the college since January 2018, the petitioner has not been discharging any additional responsibilities of a "Group-C" staff. Presently, he is paid the salary of a "GroupD" staff only. I am not inclined to decide these factual disputes in this writ petition.

Therefore, I grant liberty upon the petitioner to give a representation to the Principal of the College within a period of two weeks from the date of communication of this order for ventilating his grievance.

The Principal of the College shall consider his representation within a period of one month thereafter in accordance with law by passing a reasoned order. The reasoned order should be communicated to the petitioner immediately thereafter.

Accordingly, WPA 28007 of 2023 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible. (Kausik Chanda, J.)
