In this application, the petitioner has prayed for expeditious disposal of the interim maintenance application filed by the petitioner on 22nd June, 2023. Being aggrieved by the inordinate delay in disposing of the maintenance application. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she made the said prayer under Section 125 Cr.PC. for granting maintenance of Rs.60,000/- per month for herself and Rs.40,000/- for the son and Rs.30,000/- towards litigation cost.

Said application is pending for disposal since 22nd June, 2023 and therefore, he prayed for necessary direction upon the court below for expeditious disposal of the said application. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, it appears that the prayer made by the petitioner is justified and required to be allowed to secure the ends of justice.

In view of the above, the instant application being CRR 5452/2025 is hereby disposed of with a direction upon the court below to make every endeavour for expeditious disposal of the petitioner's interim maintenance application filed under Section 125 of the Cr.PC. dated 22nd June, 2023 and to make his best effort to dispose of the said application preferably within a period of 60 days from the next of hearing.
