The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner who is aggrieved by the non-grant of an electricity connection which he requires for carrying out is agricultural activities. 3.

Learned Advocate for the respondent- WBSEDCL raises an objection that the petitioner has applied for a 5230- watt electricity connection, which necessitates obtaining a nonobjection certificate from the State Water Investigation Directorate (SWID).

Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that his client seeks only a 5 H.P. connection load through a 3 phase meter connection. He further submits even in the prayer portion of the writ petition his client is seeking only 5 H.P. connection load. 5.

In view of the submission made by the learned Advocate for the respondent and considering that the petitioner's grievance pertains solely to the non-supply of a 5 H.P. load connectionthrough a 3 phase meter connection, this Court directs respondent no. 4 to process the application of the

petitioner within a period of 4 weeks from the date of this order, after the petitioner complying with all the necessary formalities. 6.

With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
