Petitioner(s) Mr. Arnab Chatterjee Mr. Avik Ghosh Ms. Ankusha Ghosh ... for the Petitioner(s) Mr. Anand Keshari Mr. Asif Dewan ... for the State-respondent(s) Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for more than ten months and has been implicated on the basis of the allegation of recovery of 105 bottles of phensedyl from different accused. According to the learned advocate, the investigation has been completed, charges have been framed and dates have been fixed for recording the evidence, as such, on any stringent condition the petitioner may be enlarged on bail. Learned advocate for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits a report which reflects that the petitioner was also implicated in another case but has been granted bail by this Hon'ble Court. Having regard to the period of detention of the present petitioner and the stage of the case, I am of the

view that further detention of the present petitioner is unwarranted.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Allowed.

Accordingly, the petitioner viz, Sarif Sk shall be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand only), with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Additional District & Sessions Jude, 2nd Court-cum-Judge, Special Court under NDPS Act, Berhampore, Murshidabad.

If on bail, the petitioner shall make himself physically available on each and every date so fixed by the learned trial court and shall not leave the jurisdiction of the district of Murshidabad without prior permission of the learned Special Court.

Accordingly, CRM(NDPS) 1693 of 2025 is allowed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Report submitted by the Sate be kept with the record.
