Petitioner is in custody for 210 days. It is submitted that the victim committed suicide due to domestic quarrel. He prays for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of the witnesses show victim-housewife was subjected to torture over demands of dowry on the day of the incident. She suffered unnatural death due to burn injuries. Statement of the husband of the victim also implicates the petitioner i.e. the father-in-law.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
