A report dated January 16, 2025 is filed on behalf of the District Inspector of Schools (Primary Education), Purba Medinipur, the respondent no.4 herein, let it be kept with the record.
It appears from the said report that the said respondent no.4 in compliance with the direction of this Court dated December 11, 2024, had calculated the amount required to be refunded by the petitioner in the concerned Government account to get the benefit of family pension.
Mr. Jana, learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that within a period of seven days, his client shall deposit the said amount in the concerned Government account.
Upon deposit of the said amount, the respondent no.4 shall prepare the pension
papers of the petitioner expeditiously preferably within a period of four weeks, thereafter shall send the same to the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance, Government of West Bengal, the respondent no.3 herein and the said respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the pension papers shall take forward steps for issuance of Pension Payment Order in accordance with law.
It is needless to mention that the arrear pension shall be calculated from the date following the date of retirement.
WPA 29209 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
