21.02.2025 rc/ct.no.34 Item No.36 CRR No. 5205 of 2024 In the matter of : Anil Mehera .......Petitioner Mr. Rajeshwar Chakraborty ...for the Petitioner Since the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of ACGR Case No. 6029 of 2016 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 7th Court, Alipore, South 24 Parganas, the matter may be taken up for consideration without service of notice upon the opposite party. The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case. This Court is informed that the charge has been framed on June 25, 2019. Out of 3 witnesses, examination of PW-1 is in progress. Learned counsel further submits that one of the witnesses has expired in the meantime.

In view of the above, the learned trial Court is directed to take the proceedings to its logical conclusion within one year from the next date of hearing fixed before him without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

With the above observations and directions the instant revisional application being CRR No. 5205 of 2024 is disposed of. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
