Affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioner be kept with the record.

Petitioner complains that her room has been affixed with a padlock and she is not allowed to enter her residence at the behest of the private respondent nos.5 to 7. It is also submitted as such the petitioner has to stay at different location.

Learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that one of the respondents happens to be the owner of the property and to that effect, documents have been crosschecked. Further, there were no incident of breaking the padlock and affixing some other padlocks. In view of the fact that the respondent no.5 happens to be son of the petitioner, I direct that in

case the petitioner approaches the appropriate authorities under Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 and the appropriate authorities pass any order or direction in respect or favour of the petitioner, in that case, the police authorities would render all possible assistance and protection to the petitioner and ensure that the order of the said tribunal is implemented.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 29389 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
