Pursuant to orders passed by this Court, letter of appointment in favour of the petitioner in respect of the Sahapur Harendranath Vidyapith (HS) has been issued by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education on 23rd August, 2022.

The petitioner became successful in the 12th RLST (AT), 2011. Appointments from the said RLST were given from the year 2014.

This Court by order dated 12th November, 2014 in WP 27778 of 2014 held that the petitioner was eligible for appointment.

In view of the pending litigation, the appointment letter has been issued in favour of the petitioner only on 23rd August, 2022.

The respondent authorities are accordingly, directed to extend notational benefits in favour of the petitioner on and from 12th November, 2014 when this Hon'ble Court found that the petitioner was eligible for being appointed in the RLST - 2011.

The petitioner is yet to collect the original letter of appointment.

The petitioner will be at liberty to approach the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education with all documents in her support for collecting the original letter of appointment.

The photocopy of the letter of appointment dated 23rd August, 2022 be retained with the records. The writ petition and the connected application stand disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
