The order passed by the Board of Councillors presided over by the Chairman, Contai Municipalilty dated 29th July, 2025 has been placed on record.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the same.

As the contemnor has already taken steps in terms of the direction passed by the Court, accordingly, the contempt proceeding is not required to be continued any further.

It will be open for the petitioner to challenge the order passed by the Municipality in accordance with law before the competent forum, if so advised. 5.

The contempt application stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
