Since we have directed Mr. Mukherjee to take notice of appeal on behalf of the respondent/State his appointment be regularized.

The order and direction issued by the learned Single Bench has worked out itself as the appellant/writ petitioner has already been served notice and she has also appeared online. Mr. Chatterjee, learned advocate for the appellant submitted that taking note of the observations made by the learned Single Bench the police authorities are insisting upon the appellant to surrender her mobile phone. The learned Single Bench has directed affidavits to be filed as also directed the matter to be listed under the heading "Contested Application" in the monthly list of January 2025. Therefore, it will be open to the

appellant file an application seeking for appropriate order in the pending writ petition.

With the above observation, this appeal and the connected application are dismissed.
