In this writ petition, the petitioner has expressed his grievance as regards the unauthorized and illegal detention of his vehicle, by some local associations. 2.

Sattwik Bhattacharyya, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that due to the unauthorized and illegal action of the local association as above, the petitioner has been immensely prejudiced and his rights to ply his vehicle, in terms of the valid permit, the fare chart and time table issued by the STA, West Bengal has been jeopardised.

Mr. Pantu Deb Roy, learned Additional Government Pleader representing the State has handed over to the Court a communication of the Inspector-inCharge, Bankura P.S. District Bankura, dated December 11, and submits by relying thereupon that the police authorities have diarised the matter and taken appropriate steps in this regard.

He would say that the petitioner would have no further grievance as on date.

Pursued the report, it appears that upon receipt of the complaint made by the petitioner regarding the alleged action as mentioned above, the General Diary was made on October 30, 2024.

Accordingly, the police authorities conducted enquiry and have taken appropriate steps so that the petitioner's operations, in terms of the permit conditions and timetable, remain uninterrupted henceforth.

Having seen the report as above, the Court is of the opinion that there would not be any further points for adjudication in this case.

However, the respondent nos. 4 and 5 are directed hereby to maintain peace and tranquillity and look after, so that the petitioner, possessing a valid permit, can operate on the route peacefully, without any hindrance from the said association.

Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents including the private respondents.

10. With the above observations and directions, the writ petition being WPA 29248 of 2024 is disposed of, along with the pending applications, if any.

11. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
