Petitioner contends he has been falsely implicated in a case involving commercial transaction. He is in custody for 90 days. There is no chance of abscondence. Accordingly, he prays for bail.

Learned Public Prosecutor opposes the bail prayer. Petitioner conspired with others and kidnapped the victim, a Mayanmar student, in order to extort monies from a Mayanmar trader. Petitioner has been identified in T. I. Parade by the roommate of the victim.

We have considered the materials on record.

Allegations involve kidnapping the victim in order to extort money from a businessman. Nature of the crime partakes an organized crime activity. In view of materials on record particularly T. I. Parade sheet shows petitioner is one of the abductors.

In view of gravity of offence and prima facie involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
