Report dated 09.02.2024 submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State in connection with Chinsurah Police Station Case No. 470 of 2019 dated 29.12.2019 be kept with the record.

The said report reflects that on 02.04.2024 date has been fixed for examination of the accused persons under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 2019, for more than four years.

Accordingly, the learned Special Court is directed that immediately on completion of examination of the accused persons under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, if the defence do not intend to give any evidence in support of its case within a fortnight, the argument be commenced and the learned trial court would make efforts so that the final verdict is pronounced by 31.07.2024.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 4808 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
