No. 29 CHC Rejected C.R.M.(A) 5575 of 2023 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Taherpur Police Station Case No. 575/2023 dated 18.11.2023 under Sections 363/506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act, 2012.

And In the matter of : Amarnath Rajak ...... petitioner Mr. Sumanta Das ....for the petitioner Mr. Suman De ....for the State Petitioner prays for anticipatory bail.

Petitioner stands implicated in abducting a minor of about 13 years of age.

Victim recorded her statement under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code implicating the petitioner. In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 5575 of 2023 is disposed of.
