Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record. The petitioner raises the issue of illegal and unauthorised construction over a common passage. An objection was filed before the Panihati Municipality. The municipality has responded to the said notice and conducted a spot inspection on 2nd February, 2024. The parties have been directed to appear for hearing on 14th March, 2024 (inadvertently mentioned as 14th March, 2023) along with all documents in support of the construction that has been made. In the event any unauthorized construction is detected necessary remedial steps shall be taken by the Municipality. The memo dated 6th March, 2024 issued by the Chairman of the Panihati Municipality be retained with the records.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
