Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits as follows. An altercation took place between the adverse sides. But, no grievous injury was caused.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State strongly opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He refers to the statements of the victim and the independent local witnesses and the injury report. There was a scalp injury caused at the vital portion of the body like head. In fact, the petitioners were earlier teasing the female members which led to the alleged incident.

Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order may be delivered to the learned Advocates for the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all formalities.
