1. The petitioner sought for a writ on the respondent no. 2 to depute a new Executive Magistrate to carry out an order passed under Section 14 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 (in short, the SARFAESI Act).

2. It now transpires from the communication received from the office of the District Magistrate, North 24-Parganas that a new Executive Magistrate has recently joined the office and has also initiated the due process, as directed in the order under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act.

3. In view of the afore-stated communication, a copy whereof is taken on record, no order need be passed on the writ-petition.

4. The writ-petition being WPA 29898 of 2024 is accordingly disposed of.

5. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.

6. Urgent Photostat Certified copy of this order be given to the parties, if applied for.
