Heard learned counsels for the parties.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners do not intend to press other issues in the writ petition and only seek police assistance so that the meeting called on 20th December, 2025 at 11 a.m. be held peacefully.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the intimation of such meeting has been given before the police authority and the Inspector in Charge, Egra PS has already made necessary arrangements so that the meeting is held smoothly and peacefully.

Learned counsel for the private respondents denies and disputes the allegation made against the said respondents.

Since the learned counsel for the State submits that necessary arrangement for holding the meeting in a peaceful and smooth manner has already been made, it is expected that the police authority shall ensure that no untoward incident takes place on the relevant date and the meeting ends in a peaceful manner.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
