1. None appears for the petitioner.

2. Commercial quantity of contraband was recovered from the joint possession of the petitioner.

3. Court is informed that the trial is at the fag end with the statement of the accused under Section 313 of the Criminal Procedure Code being recorded.

4. In such circumstances, we are of the view that the petitioner is unable to overcome the restrictions under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, 1985.

5. Consequently, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

7. CRM (NDPS) 1949 of 2024 is dismissed.
