Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner is taken on record.

By the present writ petition the petitioner seeks direction upon the respondent authorities to grant inter district transfer of the petitioner from district of Uttar Dinajpur to district of Howrah.

The petitioner contends that the petitioner is an Assistant Teacher of Dakshin Gachinagar FP School under Goalpokher Circle, District - Uttar Dinajpur. The petitioner joined the school on 6th May, 2021. The service of the petitioner has been confirmed with effect from 6th May, 2023. The petitioner after marriage is

staying in the district of Howrah which is 466 Kilometers away from her present place of posting. The petitioner is suffering from various gynaecological problems. On 6th January, 2025 the petitioner made a representation before respondent no.4, Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education seeking transfer. However, the same is still pending consideration. Hence this writ petition.

Mr. Somesh Kumar Ghosh, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the matter may be relegated to the appropriate authority for due consideration. He also indicates that the name of the petitioner has already been forwarded to Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education by the Chairman, District Primary School Council, Uttar Dinajpur on 22nd May, 2025 for inter-district transfer.

Mr. Ratul Biswas, learned advocate appearing for the West Bengal Board of Primary Education, District Primary School Council, Howrah as well as learned advocate for the State concedes to such submission. 6.

In view of the submissions advanced on behalf of the respective parties, respondent no.4, Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 6th January, 2025 along with the recommendation of the Chairman, District Primary School Council, Uttar Dinajpur dated 22nd May, 2025 and pass a reasoned order in accordance with law upon notice to the

petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

The reasoned order shall be communicated to the petitioner within one week from passing thereof. 8.

Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to communicate this order to respondent no.4, Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education, for necessary compliance.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition being WPA 29257 of 2025 stands disposed of.

Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegation made in the writ petition is deemed to be not admitted. 11.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of. 13.

There shall be no order as to costs.

14.

All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

15.

Urgent Photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of all necessary legal formalities.
