In compliance with the direction dated January 06, 2025, the District Inspector of Schools (P.E.), Hooghly, the respondent no. 3 files the report dated January 31, 2025, let it be kept with the record. It appears from the said report that the petitioner is now required to deposit a sum of Rs. 6,16,450/- in the relevant Government Account to get the benefit of pension.

Mr. Panda, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that within a period of four weeks from date the said amount would be deposited in the relevant Government Account.

Upon deposit of the said amount the respondent no. 3 shall take forward steps for issuance of sending the pension papers to the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance, the Government of West Bengal, the respondent no. 2 herein. The said respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the pension papers shall issue Pension Payment Order in favour of the petitioner in accordance with law.

The Pension Payment Order shall be issued with effect from the date following the date of retirement of the petitioner.

WPA 29513 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
