1. Petitioner prays for cancellation of anticipatory bail granted by the learned Sessions Judge, North 24 Parganas by order no. 3 dated 23.2.2023 in CMC No. 244 of 2023.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner cites post bail misconduct as also the merits of the case as grounds for cancellation of the anticipatory bail.

3. State and the Private Opposite parties are represented.

4. There is one police complaint with regard to the allegation of threat being held out by the opposite party subsequent to the grant of anticipatory bail.

5. Such police complaint, however, remains unsubstantiated till date.

6. So far, as the present police case is concerned, the Court is informed that the police filed charge sheet and that the jurisdictional court fixed date for supplying copies of the charge sheet and the document.

7. So far as the merits of the case is concerned, we find that the learned Sessions Judge, North 24 Parganas took into consideration the materials in the case diary and returned a finding that such

materials did not require custodial interrogation of the private opposite parties.

8. The police complaint revolves around an executed document.

9. Reasons given by the learned Sessions Judge, for granting anticipatory bail cannot said to be perverse.

10. In such circumstances, we find no ground to allow the application.

11. Accordingly, CRM (DB) 4697 of 2023 is dismissed without any order as to costs.
