The petitioner raises allegation of misappropriation and defalcation of funds of the Cooperative Society. A representation is pending consideration before the Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Purba Bardhaman (Range-I). Without going into the merit of the objection that has been filed by the petitioner, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 5 being the Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Purba Bardhaman (Range-I) to take prompt necessary steps to consider and dispose of the representation filed by the petitioner appearing at page 32 of the writ petition in accordance with law after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to all the parties.

Necessary consequential steps shall be taken by the aforesaid respondent if the allegation made by the petitioner is found to be correct.

Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation annexed at pages 32 and 33 along with other relevant documents to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is taken n record.

Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
