Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for more than four years and hardly there has been any progress in the trial of the case after charges were framed.

Learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report as also the case diary.

I have considered the medical report as well as the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. So far as the report submitted by the police authorities is concerned, I find that the present petitioner is contributing to the delay. At this stage without the evidence of the victim being completed, I am not inclined

to release the petitioner on bail. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Petitioner will renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of the victim is over.

Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record.

Case diary be returned to learned advocate for the State.

The application for bail, being CRM (M) 64 of 2026, is, thus, dismissed.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
