1. Dead body of the victim as well as the offending weapon were recovered on the leading statement made by the petitioner. Petitioner stands implicated in murder.

2. Out of 14 prosecution witnesses, only 5 were examined.

3. Trial is in progress.

4. Court is informed that, today is one of the dates fixed for recording of evidence of the prosecution.

5. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. The prayer for bail is, thus, rejected.

7. CRM (DB) 4228 of 2024 is disposed of.
