Mr. Ibrahim Shaikh ...for the petitioner Mr. Amal Kr. Sen, Ld. AGP Ms. Ashima Das (Sil) ....for the State Petitioner complained before the police authority regarding the private respondents having overpowered and committed theft and removal of materials at the point of fire arms. Information was submitted to the Officer-in-Charge, Sandeshkhali Police Station and the grievance of the petitioner is that no FIR was registered.

Learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted that Sandeshkhali P.S. Case No. 528/24 dated 05.12.2024 was registered for investigation and the investigation of the case is in progress. Police authorities are accordingly directed to effectively carry out the investigation for recovery and tracing out of the materials complained of by the petitioner. In view of the nature of the complaint if there is any insecurity which is felt by the petitioner the police authorities would analyse the threat perception

and accordingly take steps for instilling confidence of complainant so that he do not feel insecure.

Petitioner would be at liberty to raise his contentions with the investigating officer of the case, if any, further problem arise at the behest of the private respondent.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 29484 of 2024 is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
