Special Court issued warrant of arrest against the petitioner, namely, Sankar Karmakar. The next date was fixed by the court on 13th of February, 2024.

The record reflects that earlier the petitioner was absent and steps were taken on his behalf. However, on 6th of December, 2023, the ld. lawyer was also not present and the petitioner claims that there were some medical emergency relating to one of his family members. Be that as it may, I direct that, in case, the petitioner surrenders before the ld. Special Court on or before 13th of February, 2024 and if the records reflect that that he was earlier on bail, I direct that he may be allowed to continue on the same bail and bond subject to condition

that he would meet with the inspector in charge/officer in charge of Jagacha P.S. once in a fortnight for a period of six months from the date of appearance or surrender before the ld. Special Court.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 4832 of 2023 is disposed of.
