Petitioners are aggrieved by the fact that in spite of the order passed in WPA 18705 of 2021 on 22.08.2022, the petitioners were harassed and assaulted at the behest of the private respondents.

I have perused the injury reports.

Considering that the issue complained is of the year 2022 and the private respondents are the son and daughter in law, I direct that in the present circumstances the Inspector-in-charge, Contai Women P.S. will depute a lady police personnel who would every alternate day visit at the residence of the petitioners and assess regarding the circumstances as to whether they are facing any harassment or humiliation at the hands of the private respondents and report the same to the Inspector-in-charge.

Such arrangement would continue for a period of four weeks.

In the meantime, the petitioners who would approach before the appropriate authority under the provisions of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

In case any direction is passed by the said authority the police would render appropriate assistance

and ensure that the order passed by the Tribunal is implemented.

Report so submitted be kept with the records. With the above observations, WPA 28221 of 2023 is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
