So far as the present petitioner is concerned, according to the learned advocate, whatever recovery was required to be made has already been completed, as such, further detention of the petitioner is unwarranted. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that a sum of Rs.3,50,000/- is the subject-matter of the case, which by way of deceitful means were accepted by one of the acquaintances of the coaccused. Having regard to the nature of the accusations made and that the case is based on documents, further, the petitioner has already suffered for about 43 days, I am of

the view that further detention of the petitioner is unwarranted.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Allowed.

Accordingly, the petitioner viz, Saikat Sen shall be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Tamluk.

If on bail, the petitioner shall meet with the I.O. of the case once in a week till submission of charge-sheet. Accordingly, CRM(SB) 169 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. C.D. be returned to the learned advocate for the State.
