1. Petitioner prays for bail. Petitioner is in custody for about 1 (one) year and 11 (eleven) months.

2. State proposes to examine 13 prosecution witnesses out of which one stands examined.

3. Trial is in progress.

4. Commercial quantity of narcotics was seized from the joint possession as also from exclusive possession of the petitioner.

5. Materials on record do not suggest desirability of enlarging the petitioner on bail.

6. Petitioner is unable to overcome the restrictions under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, 1985.

7. Consequently, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

8. The prayer for bail is, thus, rejected.

9. CRM (NDPS) 1952 of 2024 is disposed of.
