In compliance with the order dated February 14, 2025 Mr. Chattopadhyay, learned advocate for the State files the report dated December 19, 2024 of the District Inspector of Schools (PE), Paschim Medinipur; let it be kept with the record. The petitioners are seeking permission to refund the excess amount which they have received as per ROPA 2009 to get the benefits of 18 years' continuous service and also the normal incremental benefit, their such prayer is pending consideration before the Chairman of Paschim Medinipur District Primary School Council, the respondent no. 5 herein. The said respondent is directed to consider the same expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order after giving the petitioners an opportunity of hearing. W.P.A. 29622 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
