It is submitted by the State that the CID has been able to recover the minor girl from Coimbatore. In a statement she has stated that she was kidnapped by the accused. There was a sham marriage that took place in a mosque. The minor girl is carrying a child of 21 days. Both have been kept in a safe home. The prime accused is now in jail custody. In view of the fact that the CID has been able to recover the minor girl, no further order need be passed in this regard. Let the police authorities take appropriate steps and conclude the investigation expeditiously and in accordance with law. They shall also ensure the safety and well being of the minor girl and the infant.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. Parties shall act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. [ Jay Sengupta, J. ]
