The writ petition is taken up for consideration in presence of the learned advocate representing the Barrackpore Municipality.

However, accommodation has been prayed for on behalf of the petitioners since it has been submitted that the learned advocate for the petitioners is not well.

The matter was taken up on 31st August, 2023 when identical prayer was made on behalf of the petitioners since it was submitted before this Court that the learned advocate for the petitioners was unwell. Prayer for adjournment was allowed and matter was fixed for consideration on subsequent date.

It appears that petitioners have lost interest in the fate of this writ petition.

The writ petition stands dismissed.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned Advocates for the parties on the usual undertakings.
