Copy of the report is made over to the learned counsel for the petitioner in Court this day. Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioner primarily seeks implementation of an order passed by the learned Executive Magistrate, Bankura on 17th October, 2025 pursuant to an application under Section 163 of the BNSS. The representation submitted by the petitioner before the police authority also seeks implementation of the said order.

The said order is no longer in force due to efflux of time.

The petitioner seeks police assistance to raise a boundary wall in the property in question.

It appears from the report submitted by the State that pursuant to the order passed by the learned Executive Magistrate, the police is keeping vigil in the area. A general diary lodged by the petitioner has culminated in submission of prosecution under Section 126 of the BNSS. Learned counsel for the private respondents submits that there is a land dispute between the parties. The petitioner alleges obstruction by the private respondents in raising the boundary wall, threats and assaults at their behest.

On prayer of the petitioner, liberty is granted to submit a comprehensive representation before the police authority in this regard. On receipt of the same, the police authority shall take necessary steps in accordance with law.

In the meantime, the police authority shall keep strict vigil in the area in order to avoid any untoward incident and shall ensure maintenance of peace and tranquility.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
