Masud ...for the State The petitioner is aggrieved that his son, who is a minor, was forcefully married by the private respondent no.7 with his daughter, being respondent no.8. The police registered FIR being Sundarban Coastal PS Case No. 3 of 2017. The investigation was completed and the petitioner's son was found to be a major at the time of marriage.
The Sundarban Coastal Police may file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate, within a period of two weeks from date. Copy of such report may be made available to the petitioner.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the State that the Birth Certificate annexed to the writ
petition is interpolated, which is disputed by the counsel for the petitioner.
With the aforesaid observations, both the writ petitions shall stand disposed of.
There shall be no order as to costs.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
