1. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. The FIR was lodged after a delay of about two years from the alleged date of occurrence.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He submits that the money was taken for providing Government job. Substantial portions of the payments were made in cash and some payments were made through UPI, as per the FIR. There are statements of at least eight other victims, who have been allegedly duped in similar fashion.

3. Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
