Petitioner before us is the husband.

Petitioner stands implicated by the de facto complainant in assaulting her and meting out torture, both physically and mentally, as also demanding dowry.

Allegation of demand for dowry and torture stands corroborated by the statements of the neighbours. In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 5651 of 2023 is dismissed.
