1. Petitioner prays for bail.

2. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, petitioner is in custody in excess of 2 years 4 months.

3. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the ingredients of the Arms Act are not attracted so far as petitioner is concerned. Moreover, petitioner is not a part of any conspiracy.

4. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, fire arms and fake Indian currency were seized from four persons which includes the petitioner.

5. Seizure of firearms and fake Indian currency note were made from four persons. Two were on a motor cycle while two others were standing around the motor cycle. Petitioner was one of those persons who was standing near the motor cycle.

6. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

8. CRM(DB) 4269 of 2024 is dismissed.
