1. Petitioner prays for relaxation of the conditions of bail of paragraph no. 6(ii) and (iii) of the order granting bail dated August 29, 2024.

2. Learned Deputy Solicitor General submits that, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) do not possess requisite number of personnel to depute along with the petitioner on 24 hour basis. He submits that, in the event, paragraph 6(ii) is relaxed then, the petitioner is likely to enter into the jurisdiction of the of the Jhalda police station and influence the witnesses.

3. To allay the apprehension expressed on behalf of the CBI, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will not enter into the District of Purulia itself.

4. In such circumstances, condition of bail no. 6(ii) is modified to read that the petitioner will not enter into the jurisdiction of Purulia without the leave of the Court except for the purpose of attending the Court. So far as condition no. 6(iii) is concerned, the same is waived in its entirety as CBI is unable to provide requisite manpower.

5. Other conditions of the order granting bail will remain the same.

6. CRAN/1/2024 and CRAN/2/2025 in CRM (DB) 4800 of 2023 are disposed of accordingly.
