The petitioner preferred an appeal under Rule 51 of the West Bengal Minor Minerals Concession Rules, 2016 before the Divisional Commissioner, Burdwan, being the 3rd respondent herein, on 1st March, 2023 which is yet to be considered. The innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for a direction upon the 3rd respondent to dispose of the appeal within a stipulated time frame.

Upon considering the submission of the parties the writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal within two weeks from the date of communication of this order, in accordance with law.

There shall however, be no order as to costs. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
