1. Petitioner is aggrieved by the impugned notice dated 6.12.2024 issued by the respondentWBSEDCL whereby the respondent have expressed their intention to disconnect the electricity connection granted in favour of the petitioner on the ground of suppression of pending Title Suit no. 75 of 2023 pending before the civil Judge, Jr. Division 2nd Court, Chinsurah Hooghly.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that new electricity connection was granted to him on 27.11.2024 for running his poultry farm.

However, the respondent issued the impugned notice dated 6.12.2024 on the ground that they have received a legal notice from Raju Ghosh intimating them about the pendency of the Title Suit no. 75 of 2023 pending before the civil

Judge, Jr.

Division 2nd Court, Chinsurah Hooghly.

3. At the outset, learned counsel for respondentWBSEDCL submits that they do not intend to take any action in pursuance of the notice dated 6.12.2024.

4. In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the respondent- WBSEDCL the petitioner does not wish to press the present writ petition.

5. The present writ petition is disposed of in terms of submission made by the learned counsel for the respondent- WBSEDCL that they shall not be acting on the notice dated 6.12.2024.
