The writ petition relates to an appointment to the post of constable (GD) in CAPFs. The selection process was undertaken to fill up the post in 2013. I am of the view that with the passage of time the writ petition has become infructuous.

Consequently, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Interim order stands vacated.
