In the cause title portion of the order dated 05.07.2024 'WPA 28089 of 2016' shall be read as 'WPA 28089 of 2014'.

Department is directed to make necessary correction to that effect in the order dated 05.07.2024. The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the instant writ petition has become infructuous as the grievance of the petitioner has been resolved and has filed a written instruction on behalf of the petitioner expressing his unwillingness to proceed with the instant writ petition. Let the said written instruction be kept on record.

Under such circumstances, the instant writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution.

Copy of the order be sent to the Department for compliance.
