G.S.Das Mr. Suddhadev Adak Ms. Richa Pramanik ... for the State - respondent(s) The writ petition was preferred as the representation of the petitioner dated 07.12.2023 was not considered by the administration including the Officer-in-charge of Rajarhat Police Station.

The main grievance of the petitioner is that some of the miscreants in the area in collusion with the land authorities particularly the BL&LRO, Rajarhat have been manipulating with the measurement of the land and thereby enriching themselves. A representation, to that effect, has been made to the concerned authorities as also the Rajarhat

police station, but, no steps were taken by the police authorities.

State has submitted a report prepared by the Inspector-in-charge of Rajarhat Police Station which reflect that, according to the Inspector-in-charge of Rajarhat Police Station, the jurisdiction of the property complained of falls within the domain of Techno City Police Station which is under the same Commissionerate.

Be that as it may, since the nature of the complaint after taking into at its face value discloses an offence, a superior officer of police in charge of Techno City Police Station would take steps in accordance with law.

However, the petitioner is granted liberty to file a fresh application with the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Techno City Police Station.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 28452 of 2023 is disposed of.

CAN 1 of 2024 with CAN 2 of 2024 Both the applications, being CAN 1 of 2024 and CAN 2 of 2024 are not taken into consideration since neither any action has been taken by the police authorities till date, nor the petitioner has been able to obtain any order from a court of law by way of such representation being made.

As such, CAN 1 of 2024 as also CAN 2 of 2024 is dismissed.
