The petitioners are the Assistant Teachers of the different primary schools in the District of Purba Burdwan. They are praying 'A' category scale of pay.

The causes of action being different; the petitioners cannot maintain a single writ petition for their reliefs. WPA 29747 of 2024 is therefore dismissed as not maintainable without any order as to costs.

It is however made clear that this order will not prevent the petitioners from filing separate writ petitions for the reliefs as prayed for in the instant writ petition.
